Fears and phobias are intense, often irrational fears that can severely limit a person’s life. While fears are common and may be triggered by specific situations (e.g., heights, spiders), phobias are more extreme, often causing avoidance behaviors and anxiety.


Individuals with fears or phobias may experience extreme anxiety, panic attacks, or even physical symptoms like sweating, shaking, or shortness of breath when faced with the source of their fear. This can lead to avoidance of certain situations or activities, limiting daily life.
